Mission
The Outreach Ministry is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and grounding new members in the Body of Christ, as reflected in the slogan “Go, Get Them; Get Them Grounded”.

History
Throughout the years the Outreach Ministry has experienced many changes but has strived remain true to its mission to reach the lost. In 2012, the Department was recommissioned and reinvigorated with a teaching series led by Pastor Akomeah entitled “The Heartbeat of God”.  Shortly thereafter, Bro. Nii Tackie began to lead the Department with unparalleled commitment and passion, and is supported by Board Representative Deaconess Temmie. In October 2013, The Outreach Department instituted an Annual New Member Orientation Event, where new members are welcomed with food and fellowship by the Senior Pastor and church leadership.

Activities and Meetings
The Ministry is comprised of the Escort, Greeter and Follow-Up Teams to effectively reach out to first time visitors and new members. We believe this affords everyone the opportunity to serve in the ministry based on their strengths and gifts.

The Outreach Ministry meets twice a month:

• Every 1^st Saturday we meet to fast and pray (2:00-3:30pm).
• Every 3^rd Saturday we meet for various activities such as new member visitation, follow up calls or community evangelism.
