Christ Ambassadors is the young adult ministry wing of the church targeted at ages 18 to early thirties.   We the people as Christ Ambassadors are about four things:

Passionately and practically serving Christ: Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
(Rom 12: 11).

Reconciling the world back to Christ: Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. (II Cor. 5:20).

Living sanctified lives: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
(II Pet 1:4).

Fellowship that sharpens one another: And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine, and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. (Acts 2:42).

Our commitment to our calling as Christ Ambassadors is reflected in our pledge:

I am a Christ Ambassador.

I know the reality of being born again;
And recognize the responsibility of being filled with the Spirit.

As an ambassador for Christ, I shall ever strive to be:

loyal to God and to my church; reverend to God and his house; obedient to God and to my parents; zealous for the salvation of others; regular in prayer and the study of his word; faithful in my tithes and offerings; pure in mind, heart and body; consistent in my example and walk.

To this end, my every action shall be governed by a friendly attitude and motivated by a Christian love for I am a Christ Ambassador.

Equally dear to our hearts is our anthem:

We are Christ Ambassadors, and our colors we must unfurl;

We must wear a spotless robe, clean and righteous before the world;

We must show we are cleansed from sin, and that Jesus dwells within;

Proving duly, that we are truly, Christ Ambassadors.

As Christ Ambassadors we respond to various slogans:

Okumchola – It’s a miracle

Gagae – watch out

If you don’t go to heaven – don’t blame Jesus

Young man – keep your ways (waist) pure
